The guy in line in front of us asked me if there was another copy, I said no sorry.Īnyways I had my turbotax card on me, and left my bank card at home. Stopped and checked out the movies they had, they had Krampus and Annihilation. Funny story, me and my GF walked to her local seven eleven drunk at like 12 30 one night. I have a copy of Krampus sitting right in front of me on DVD. If you haven't seen it yet, please ignore the rest of this list and watch it as soon as is physically possible. The humor in this one relies less on dialogue and more on the absurdity of the situation that the protagonist finds himself in, all of which is emphasized by a much-too-cheerful jaunty soundtrack that I really adore.Īnd, of course, I'm sure you've seen them both but I still have to recommend them to you JUST in case you haven't: "Shaun of the Dead" and "Tucker and Dale Versus Evil". "Ravenous" (1997), a cult classic about cannibalism and cowardice and being a bit of a fuck-up. It's a great pay-off if you just stick with it.

And then the second half of the movie makes the first half make total sense, you cry from laughing, and then you're also crying happy tears by the time the credits roll. It took me several days to get through the first half of the movie because it was so painfully, agonizingly bad. This one's a difficult one to recommend because it requires some SERIOUS trust and patience. "Cabin in the Woods", another great horror/comedy that runs a route similar to Leslie Vernon in its deconstruction of horror tropes. It's all just awful and ridiculous and worse still for being so real. A very solid horror/comedy and a good detour from standard zombie fare. "Fido" (2006), where the premise is "1950s USA but with domesticated zombies as servants for anyone that can afford it". Though it's not more modern, I recently watched "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" (2006) and absolutely loved it as a combination horror/comedy and 80s slasher movie satire. I know the evil dead trilogy does a good job of blending horror and comedy, but is there anything more modern that is similar to this movie? I’m wondering if there are any other movies like this.

But overall, I really liked this movie and I think it’ll quickly become one of my favorites. With this movie the comedy never takes away from the horror.Īnother thing is that Christine might be the most sympathetic character I’ve seen in a horror movie, she’s very likable and I felt bad for her the whole movie and the ending left me pretty devastated even though I had a feeling it wouldn’t end well. It’s a movie that now having watched it, stands out against other movies that are labeled Horror comedies. I liked how Raimi took time to set up the character of Christine and her situation, and the blending of comedy and horror were great.

It was so good! I uploaded this movie to LookMovie, now every single person can watch this movie online free.I know this is an older movie but I finally watched it for the first time yesterday and I liked it a lot. …Damn, I need to watch these movie online again. The sum of detail and little aspects of the movie that you can long time later is seriously awesome. No movie ever has filled me with so much strange energy and gotten me so immersed in it. Now why this movie falls in the genre of one of the greatest of all time online? It is my favorite horror movie because parts felt very similar to my life experience. LookMovie Review:įor me, this movie is one of the best movie released in the year 2009. Her only hope seems to lie in a psychic who claims he can help her lift the curse and keep her soul from being dragged straight to hell. Christine is convinced she’s been cursed by a Gypsy, but her boyfriend is skeptical. After denying a woman the extension she needs to keep her home, loan officer Christine Brown sees her once-promising life take a startling turn for the worse.
